Parents imposing the wedding they want on us?

Since we first started wedding planning both our parents have imposed their wedding ideas on us and it has got to a point they are hijacking our wedding. It is different from what everyone else seems to go through, other people's parents seem to want bigger and better for them but ours keep trying to downplay our wedding plans and convince us to go cheaper and smaller than we are. It really hurts my feelings. It is like they are saying we don't deserve anything nice and they have really stepped on our toes with their ideas. My parents put a lot of pressure on us to just have a backyard pizza party and forget a more traditional wedding and his parents have been telling the guests to dress less than casual or in costume and to not expect much. This has been going on for a long while and we have talked to each of our parents but it doesn't stop. Our wedding is already pretty small and on a budget so it's hard to have all this pressure to make things cheaper, it's not possible. Has anyone else experienced this? It is causing us a lot of stress just would be interested to know how others handled the same situation.

so this girl i get a feeling kinda likes me....i m too shy to admit my feelings towards her.....she was like IF THERE WAS SOMEONE ELSE IN YOUR PLACE HE WOULD HAVE TRIED TO PRAISE THE WORDS OUT OF MY MOUTH..BUT YOU NEVER EVER MADE IT..what does it mean???...she teases me a lot about my marriage and dating stuff knowing that i dont like it.....one time i knida teased her back..lol..or tried to..and then stopped awkwardly..she was like...no no u continue....you can disturb me as much as you can...so then i backed off..she said..YOU DIDNT TELL ME THE TRUTH...and i was like what truth..so she said..nothing..so i want to know isnt it weird that she is the one asking me to tease her???...what all does it mean??...we are friends since we were 4 or 5...

Short, tight and high waisted skirt okay for bar?

I'm going out with some friends to the bars tonight and was wondering if a shortish (but not too short) black tight high waisted skirt is okay to wear? Would it be too dressy? I was thinking about wearing flats or sandals and a cute belt. What kind of top should I wear. Obviously not something too dressy I want something more casual to downplay the skirt. Thanks!

Are we friends.........?

She used to be THIS close to me, now, literally, everytime I say something, she downplays it. When I refer something to my split personality disorder, she always talks about it as if I don't have it, which I do though. She yells at me for using the D-word literally less than 10 seconds after her going on and on about this encounter her cousin once had with a hooker and some other dirty whores. I don't know what to think anymore, I want to be her friend so badly, but without her, I'm nothing. Help? Should I try to make it better?

Ssisters wedding in cancun. but why wont she care about the cartels and our safety?

My sisters wedding is in Cancun next year in may. However we live close to the border and see and hear about cartels enough as it is. N we aren't even in Mexico yet. Mom mom has tried to explain to her all the first hand experiences friends and family have had in Mexico. My sister refuses to change the location and snaps back at my mom with remarks about not even getting married anymore Because of my moms concerns. My mom has even stated she doesn't care for her life but my siblings lives and my own. My sister insists that her bf watches the media 4hrs a day and knows everything that is going on. However why wont they understand the media downplays the truth. My question is is my sister being selfish or are we for our safely. Thanks so much
