Poll:Was Donaire's departure to GBP from Top Rank a good thing or a bad thing for his overall career?

It's a bad thing. Top Rank and Filipino people have a special relationship. Top Rank promotes fights like Pinoy Power which include elite Filipino fighters against some of the best in the world. Donaire was once part of that too. Many Filipinos consider Arum, Roach, and Pacquiao has admirable people and are highly respected in the Philippines. Bob Arum has flown to the Philippines a hundred times. Oscar De La Hoya has always been seen by Filipinos as a jealous hater who is jealous on the way Pacquaio beat him. De La Hoya sold himself out by promoting Mayweather, the same guy who personally insulted De La Hoya. De La Hoya is not just hated in Mexico for being a sell out scumbag but in the Philippines he is also hated. Donaire's move is bad for his Filipino fan base. In fact, I lost some respect to him. As far as his overall career, he can throw his big match ups with Juan Manuel Lopez or Yuriorkis Gamboa to the window. That will never happen now.
