Has anyone heard about the monkey they sending to space? im finding it disturbing. animal cruelty?

i completely agree, what's the point in sending an innocent creature to space which could potentially really damage it's health. If scientists and cosmologists really want to find out the secrets of the universe, they should go themselves rather than being cowards and sending a terrified animal.
