Are these rapture "false prophets" decieving people about the soon return of Jesus?

In the most basic sense, yes, they are lying to us cause it hasn't happend yet. But on a bigger scale they are downplaying the soon return of the Lord. Most of these people read the bible and know they cannot tell the EXCACT time. I highlight excact cause I believe true Christians will know when time is growing short. Anyway, these date setters must be purposely trying to decieve the world into thinking Jesus will not return. There is go other explaination. Now when the Lords return gets imminent most will say remember all those people crying wolf all those times? They will be caught unaware.
