Fukushima crisis only to get worse?
I have read that the nuclear crisis in Japan has been raised from a level 5 to a level 7. This puts it "on par" with the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. And it keeps continuing. I've heard radiation levels have apparently been dropped significantly since the hydrogen explosion off the roof of the plant. But still it has only released about 10 percent of what Chernobyl released. But I've heard that the media is EXTREMELY downplaying the crisis and it's Much much worse than the media depicts it to be. Chernobyl is still mainly uninhabitable and still dangerous and parts around Japan will be uninhabitable too. I've heard that while the overall radiation leakage has been 10 percent of chernobyls, the plutonium leakage is apparently identical. Soo the question is what do you think? Do you think the Fukushima disaster will become worse than Chernobyl? Or do you think Chernobyl will still be worse in the end and it's "off scale"? I think that with the earthquakes that keep coming to the Fukushima plant, It COULD eventually become worse or it already is worse but the country is hiding it like the soviet union did back in 1986 to keep the public from panicking. Nevertheless, the people affected and the economic impact will always be worse than chernobyls. Let's just hope that half of Japan doesn't become uninhabitable for 20+ years. But what do you think?
