I am seeking an accounting position but need help with my resume. Please help?

I have over 30 years of work history. My accounting positions; staff accountant, analyst, financial analyst, senior financial analyst etc., are over 10 years ago. Since then I have been self-employed. How do I downplay the recent job history and maximize the accounting? I have a BS in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration.
