Seizures - how do I make sure I get referred to neurologist?

You can call a neurologist yourself and schedule an appointment but your insurance may not pay if they require a referal. If you have a history of seizures why don't you go to your original neurologist. Also, you can ask the primary care physician to refer you to a neurologist. Most doctors will gladly do this.
