What is wrong with Degrassi?

The boiling point hyped it up that someone was going to die, now in too deep as well. The only losses were the wall and Eli's car. I'm tired of all this drama that doesn't live up to it's full potential, degrassi is really dead now. The new cast isn't nearly as good as the old one, and these downplayed scenes seem like trash. Anyone else feel this way?
